Danielle earned her Ph.D. in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023. She was a part of the Computational Cosmology group where she studied the early universe using high resolution cosmological simulations. She is particularly interested in the first generation of stars, and their descendants in the form of neutron star mergers. Recently, she studied how a neutron star merger can affect the r-process abundances of Population II stars, based on the local ultra-faint dwarf galaxy, Reticulum II. Danielle is passionate about equity, inclusion and accessibility in science and strives to create an environment where everyone can learn physics.
