Oregon State University researchers in Physics, Chemistry and Electrical Engineering will benefit from a new laser center, scheduled to open in Summer 2020. New instruments in this shared facility will deliver a versatile platform to enable ultrafast pulsed laser measurements. A variety of new optical, magnetic and electronic materials are under investigation at Oregon State University, with applications ranging from solar cells, information storage, low-power computing to signal processing. This new cutting-edge facilities will help advance these projects.
