Mike Lerner, OSU Chemistry
This talk will present an overview of the chemistry of graphite, including the challenges of finding a scalable chemistry that delaminates graphite to form graphene. Also, a description of the new intercalation reactions, and the new donor-type or acceptor-type intercalation compounds, developed by OSU Chemistry graduate students. Mike Lerner is Professor of Chemistry at OSU.http://chemistry.oregonstate.edu/lerner.html
