Abstract:
Short Bio: Dr. Matt Graham is an Associate Professor of Physics at Oregon State University. His academic training is from the University of Toronto (Hon.B.Sc.) and the University of California, Berkeley (PhD). Dr. Graham was a Kavli Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University before starting the Micro-Femto Energetics Laboratory at Oregon State University, Physics in 2014. His lab applies new methods to study the transport and spectroscopic properties of emerging condensed-phase materials and devices. Unconventional ultrafast microscopy methods are developed to help optimize energy efficiency in emerging solar materials and better harness new quantum materials. Dr. Graham presently Chairs the Ultrafast Optical Science Technical Group at Optica (formerly OSA).
