The seminar will cover both the internal and national work conducted by OSU on how to support faculty desiring to have impact from their work in innovation & entrepreneurship (I&E) - particularly in the area of promotion & tenure (P&T). Included in this discussion will be OSU’s leadership role in creation of the Promotion & Tenure Innovation & Entrepreneurship (PTIE) Coalition with over 67 university members. Central to this effort is the recognition that the P&T process and procedures must address bias as well as establishing a superstructure to support concurrent efforts to recognize other areas of faculty impact. The seminar is intended to be highly interactive and the presenters want to hear from faculty on these topics.”
