From the start of the first observing run on September 12, 2015, to the end of the second on August 25, 2017, LIGO and Virgo have accumulated 166 days of coincident observations with two (or more) detectors. I will give an overview of the many binary black hole mergers, and binary neutron star merger, detected during these 166 days, and what they have taught us (so far) about compact binaries and how they are formed.
