Last year, the two large, general purpose detector experimental collaborations at the CERN's Large Hadron Collider, ATLAS and CMS, reported strong evidence for a newly discovered boson, which appears to have the properties of the elusive Higgs Boson. The University of Oregon experimental high energy physics group has played an active role in the discovery of the ATLAS Collaboration. I will discuss these results and prospects for the future.
